This method results in the production of fuel cell grade hydrogen, captured carbon dioxide (CO₂), and inert slag. The hydrogen can be used as a clean low carbon fuel in various industries, while the captured CO₂ can be utilized or stored (CCS), contributing to carbon neutrality. The remaining slag is inert and can be repurposed as a construction aggregate.
Our Process offers a sustainable alternative to incineration and landfill, supporting a circular economy by turning waste into clean energy and usable materials, and helping industries and municipalities reduce their environmental footprint and reducing the dependency of landfill and incineration plants.

In the dynamic environment of waste-to-energy processes, our Plasma-gasification process stands out due to its unique plasma arc technology, which reaches temperatures in excess of 3000°C. This innovative solution enables the recycling of various waste materials, from ash-containing waste to hazardous waste, as well as energy-rich waste such as mixed plastic, car tires and medical waste.

The unique plasma arc-based gasification technology enables a higher synthesis gas yield and purity (and thus hydrogen yield) than normal gasification processes such as pyrolysis.

Plant operation will not expose the environment to toxic by-products such as dioxins, furans or PFAs, which pose a challenge for existing incineration plants. In addition, the process can handle hazardous waste which currently poses a threat to the environment (e.g. groundwater pollution).

Plant operation will not expose the environment to toxic by-products such as dioxins, furans or PFAs, which pose a challenge for existing incineration plants. In addition, the process can handle hazardous waste which currently poses a threat to the environment (e.g. roundwater pollution).

The plant revolutionises waste management practices through thermochemical recycling of waste streams that are currently disposed of incineration plants or landfills. In this way, the waste streams are channeled into a more sustainable form of disposal according to “recycling inline” with the waste. The process will recover hydrogen, CO2 and an inert slag mixture that can be reused as aggregate.
